Today, the strength of the National Bible Association,Inc continues as an association of dedicated members of the Christian and Jewish faiths who work together to carry out the mission of encouraging Bible reading. This is done primarily through our four main program areas:

  1. International Day of the Bible Sunday November 24th to communicate to the 206 Nations of the World.
  2. To Distribute widely the book “Biblical Wisdom for Better Living” by Barry Black Chaplain of the U.S. Senate and formerly head of all U.S. Chaplains of the Army, Navy and Air Force especially in the United States.
  3. Campaigns in the regular media and Social media to “Encourage Reading of the Bible…whatever version.
  4. Recognition and Awards to members of the U.S Congress, Businessmen and to Army, Navy and Air Force Chaplain.

Have a favorite Psalm? Or, a special passage that has helped you through tough times? Want to share with the world how much the Bible means in your life? Or ask Him to bless your nation?

On Sunday, November 24th at noon local time―in public or online―people of all ages are being invited to participate in International Day of the Bible by taking pause for a few minutes to read Scripture or otherwise creatively express their love of The Good Book. In past years people have made videos and posted them to social media, taken photos of themselves reading the Bible, or posted their favorite Bible verse.

Aside from asking you to join us for a powerful worldwide social media event using the hashtag —#biblecelebration–, we are asking Pastors, Priests, Rabbis, and other clergy across the globe to preach on the greatness and blessing of God’s Word that day.

Millions around the world participated in the International Day of the Bible social media events, including the famous French art museum the Louvre. We hope that millions more of Bible loving people will join us this year to proclaim their thankfulness for the Bible using photos, videos, audio and words. Ask your pastors to join us in our celebration on November 24th by preaching about the Bible. Join us in getting the Word out to the whole world.

LET US ALL EXALT HIS WORD TOGETHER!

Here’s How To Participate

1. The Word of God and its proclamation is the purpose of this holy gathering.

2. Gather at noon on the Sunday November 24th of Thanksgiving Week at a public square, public building or government facility in your city.

3. Bring together business, political, religious and civic leaders of your community to read God’s Word out loud before an assembled gathering.

4. Have each leader choose a section of scripture no more than about fifteen verses in length to read without commentary.

5. Ask these leaders to inform you beforehand about their selection so that there is not duplication.

6. Encourage the audience to read along if they bring their Bibles.

7. Video and photograph the event and please post them to your social media pages using #BibleCelebration – We will share them with our global audience!
